The Vitamin

We believers know the scripture:
Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
But do we truly believe it?

God said His Word will not return void — it will accomplish what He sends it to do.
And because we are made in His image, our words carry weight too.
We can speak life or death.
We can shape our lives — and the lives of others — by what we say.

It may not happen instantly, but words plant seeds.
Seeds grow.
And eventually, we eat the fruit of what we’ve spoken.

Wrong thoughts lead to wrong actions.
Satan counts on that — he’s been using that strategy since the garden.

So we must take responsibility for what comes out of our mouths.
Even the “innocent” things.
Even the casual comments.
Even the jokes.

If the source of our words is not the Word of God, then our words will take on the form of the world — and the world is an enemy to the life God desires for us and our loved ones.

The Heart Check

• What words have you been speaking lately?
• Are they coming from anger, lust, frustration, fear… or Agape love?
• Are you speaking blessings or curses?
• Are you shaping your surroundings with life or with death?

Your words reveal your thoughts.
Your thoughts reveal your source.
Your source determines your fruit.

The Call to Action

Take every thought captive.
Cast wrong thoughts onto Jesus.
Replace them with truth — God’s truth — so you can speak life over your children, your family, your relationships, your future, and your atmosphere.
