The Vitamin
Your first birthday is the day you entered this world — a day of celebration.
Every year, we mark that moment with joy, reflection, and gratitude.
But for those who have been born again, there is another birthday — a spiritual one.
A day when new life began.
A day when God breathed purpose into your spirit.
A day when heaven celebrated.
Yet most believers don’t mark that day.
We don’t remember the month, the moment, or the miracle.
But with that new birth came a calling, a purpose, and a God‑given assignment.
Many go through life never discovering what God birthed in them.
But as we mature in Christ, we begin to recognize the gifts, talents, and abilities He placed inside us — some from childhood, some awakened later, all intentional.
Some parents help their children recognize early what God has placed in them.
Others discover it as adults.
But every believer has been given talents — abilities meant to be used for the Kingdom.
Singing.
Playing instruments.
Writing.
Acting.
Teaching.
Encouraging.
Serving.
Leading.
Read Jesus’ parable in Matthew 25:14–30 — the talents were never meant to be buried.
The Heart Check
- Are you using the gifts God placed in you?
- Have you buried what He intended you to multiply?
- Do you know what He birthed in you?
- Are you walking in the purpose He prepared beforehand?
You are His workmanship — handcrafted, intentional, equipped.
