The Vitamin

Goods are labeled “damaged” when they’re cracked, broken, or scratched.
People feel “damaged” when they believe they’ve lost value — when something painful has happened, when their reputation has been attacked, or when they’ve been treated as if they don’t matter.

Sadly, this happens far too often inside the body of Christ.

Many come into the church already bruised by the world — dreams crushed, confidence stolen, identity shaken — only to be wounded again by believers who haven’t matured in God’s love.
Instead of being healed, they’re pushed further into isolation.
Talents go unused.
Gifts sit dormant.
Hearts stay guarded.

This is not the way of Christ.

Jesus commands us to love one another as He loved us — with gentleness, patience, compassion, and truth.
But when we fail to “handle with care” those who are fragile, we grieve the Holy Spirit and misrepresent the heart of God.

The Heart Check

  • Are you someone who has been damaged while looking for love, acceptance, or healing?
  • Or are you someone who has damaged others through harshness, judgment, gossip, or lack of compassion?
  • Have you pushed away someone God sent you to love?
  • Have you allowed someone else’s behavior to convince you that you have no value?

Both situations need the same remedy:
A visit to the Father.

For the wounded:
“Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

For the one who has wounded:
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive…” (1 John 1:9)

God restores both the broken and the breaker.
