Scripture Anchors
“For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.”
1 Thessalonians 3:11 NIV
“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
James 4:17
“But prove yourselves doers of the word… and not merely listeners… deluding yourselves.”
James 1:22 AMP
The Vitamin
Time out for being out of place.
God is looking for a church without spot or wrinkle — a people who are busy letting their light shine, not busy meddling in everyone else’s business.
The world is stumbling around like the blind leading the blind, desperate for someone who will point them to truth.
They don’t need more noise.
They need witnesses.
They need workers.
They need light.
We are not called to be busybodies, gossipers, or spiritual inspectors.
Especially not when we ourselves are neglecting the work God assigned to us.
If you’re in place to hear the Word — do it.
If you’re not in place — get in place.
If you know what you should be doing and refuse to do it — Scripture calls that sin.
If you know your gift, use it.
If you don’t know your gift, get busy discovering it so you can be ready when the Holy Spirit prompts you.
Stop pointing out others’ faults.
Start working on your own.
When you operate in love, people will recognize it without you saying a word.
The Heart Check
- Are you doing your part in the body?
- Are you obeying what you already know?
- Are you a doer of the Word or just a hearer?
- Are you building the Kingdom or just watching from the sidelines?
The world is depending on the church to rise up.
The church is depending on its members to get in position.
And God is calling His people to get busy — now.
The Call to Action
Let’s get busy doing what thus says the Lord.
No more delays.
No more excuses.
No more hiding behind “I’ll do it later.”
No time like the present… today! ❤️
