Definitions
- Delusion — faulty judgment; believing something that isn’t real.
- Illusion — something wrongly perceived or interpreted by the senses.
- Confusion — lack of understanding; uncertainty.
- Truth — what is real, reliable, and aligned with God’s Word.
Take your pick — because today, society is living in all four.
Many are:
- Delusional in their judgment about who they are
- Illusional in how they perceive themselves
- Confused about what is plainly visible
- And rejecting Truth, even when it stands right in front of them
Yet the truth is simple:
God’s Word is reality.
Everything else is noise.
You can see all four — delusion, illusion, confusion, and truth — on any given day, in any conversation, on any platform. But only one of them brings stability, clarity, and freedom.
Those who stand on Truth, rooted in God’s Word, are the most grounded and the least shaken.
The Heart Check
- Am I leaning on my own interpretation, or on Scripture?
- Am I letting culture shape my reality?
- Am I confused because I’m listening to too many voices?
- Am I accepting illusions because they feel easier than truth?
- Am I willing to let God’s Word correct my perception?
If you want to be free from misunderstanding, deception, and instability…
Stand on the Truth.
The truth will stand — with or without agreement.
The question is: Which one are you leaning on?
