Love at Its Best!

Scripture Anchors

“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”
Romans 13:8 GNT

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self‑seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.”

1 Corinthians 13:4–5

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.”

Proverbs 3:3–4

“Do everything in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:14

The Vitamin

How is your love life going?
Not romance — but your obedience to God’s command to love.

Are you loving others according to His Word?
Or is there a place where negativity, irritation, or unforgiveness has crept in?

Scripture is full of instructions about love — because love is the foundation of everything God calls us to do.

Trying to use your gifts without love will never work.
Love is the power behind the gift.
Love is the proof of spiritual maturity.
Love is the evidence that Christ lives in you.

1 Corinthians 13:4–5 gives us the clearest picture of what love looks like — and what it does not look like.
There is no unforgiveness in love (Ephesians 4:31–32).
Love isn’t “sometimey.”
It doesn’t depend on how you feel about a person.
It doesn’t envy, boast, or behave arrogantly.
It isn’t rude, irritable, resentful, or self‑seeking.
It doesn’t rejoice in wrongdoing.

If these traits show up, it’s a sign you’re not wearing God’s love.

The Heart Check

  • Are you loving consistently, or only when it’s convenient?
  • Are you keeping records of wrongs?
  • Are you operating in your gifts without the foundation of love?
  • Are you honoring others, or reacting from the flesh?

Love is meant to be worn — like jewelry around your neck.
Let it settle deep in your heart.
When you do, you will find favor with God and with people.

The Call to Action

Whatever you do, dress yourself in love.
Start early in the morning as you acknowledge God.
Let His love be the first thing you put on.

The greatest love is His — and He pours it into you so you can pour it out to others.

If you’ve been walking in this, keep going.
If not, start today. ❤️
(It’s the best!)
