A Short Story for Young Ladies Finding Their Worth
Tina wasn’t a bad girl.
She wasn’t wild.
She wasn’t reckless.
She was just… young.
Young in experience.
Young in confidence.
Young in knowing her worth.
And that’s exactly when the enemy likes to show up.
The Whisper
Tina was sitting on her bed scrolling through her phone when the thought hit her:
“Maybe I’m not enough.”
She didn’t know where it came from.
But it felt real.
Then came the next whisper:
“If I just say yes… maybe they’ll like me more.”
“If I just give a little… maybe I’ll feel wanted.”
“If I just go along… maybe I won’t be alone.”
It sounded harmless.
It sounded flattering.
It sounded like opportunity.
But it was the same whisper Eve heard in the garden.
The Pressure
Tina had a friend group that loved attention.
They loved being chosen.
They loved being wanted.
And they kept telling her:
“Girl, it’s not that serious.”
“Just do it.”
“You’re too innocent.”
“You’re gonna lose him.”
“You’re being dramatic.”
Tina didn’t want to lose anyone.
She didn’t want to be the “boring” one.
She didn’t want to be alone.
So she opened her Sacred Pocketbook —
the place inside her where God put her worth —
and she handed out pieces she didn’t even know were valuable.
Not because she was weak.
But because she didn’t know what she was carrying.
The Fall
Tina didn’t fall because she was stupid.
She fell because she was Eve —
curious, hopeful, wanting to be loved, wanting to be chosen.
She fell because she didn’t know:
- she was already enough
- she was already chosen
- she was already valuable
- she already had everything she needed
She reached for something she didn’t need
because she didn’t know what she already had.
Every girl has done that.
The Wake‑Up
One day, Tina looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize herself.
Not her face.
Her spirit.
She felt empty.
Used.
Confused.
Tired of trying to be enough for people who didn’t even know her value.
And then the truth hit her:
“I can’t cover anyone else until I learn to cover myself.”
That was the moment Raising Eve began.
The Shift
Tina started learning:
- who she was
- what she carried
- what she deserved
- what God intended
She realized she had a Sacred Pocketbook —
and she had been letting anyone reach inside.
So she made a decision:
N.O.P.E. — NOT OPENING POCKETBOOK EVER
to anything that looks like the serpent.
Not opening it to:
- pressure
- manipulation
- fake love
- attention traps
- inconsistency
- confusion
- “prove yourself” games
Not because she was mean.
But because she was worth protecting.
Tina Restored
Now Tina walks different.
She thinks different.
She chooses different.
She loves herself different.
She’s not perfect
but she’s aware.
She’s not scared
but she’s wise.
She’s not closed off
but she’s protected.
She’s Eve…
but this time, she knows better.
Tina’s Declaration
I know who I am.
I know what I carry.
I don’t fall for the serpent.
I don’t lower my standards.
I don’t open my pocketbook for pressure.
I protect my worth.
I choose my future.
I set my standards.
I walk in wisdom.
I am Raising Eve.
