The Vitamin
In the U.S., we have so much that we often forget how blessed we already are.
We have so much that we stop appreciating what others wish they had.
Many of us have more than enough — yet still feel like we need more.
Where does satisfaction enter the picture?
- Technology keeps releasing something new to entice your eyes.
- Designers keep pushing the next style with someone’s name on it — and people rush to buy it.
- Restaurants feed us more than we need, and we still want more.
- Cars get bigger, flashier, and pricier — and people stretch themselves thin just to “look like they have it.”
We’ve lost balance.
We’ve lost gratitude.
We’ve lost the pause that says, “Lord, thank You for what I already have.”
Even if you can afford it — because of your education, your career, or your current status — the question remains:
Do you appreciate what you have?
And do you remember those who have not?
The Heart Check
God is the One who provides:
- A sound mind
- Opportunities
- Careers
- Stability
- Protection
- Favor
- And the ability to enjoy what we have
It only takes one disaster, one shift, one unexpected moment for everything to change.
So whether you are in the “Haves” or the “Have Nots,” the posture of your heart matters.
If you are among the Haves:
- Thank God for what you have.
- Don’t take credit for what He provided.
- Bless others out of your abundance.
If you are among the Have Nots:
- Don’t borrow from Peter to pay Paul.
- Don’t compare yourself to others.
- Remember: in God’s economy, little becomes much.
- What you have can feel like more than what others possess — because you know where your help comes from.
