The Vitamin

A new year brings a fresh opportunity — a chance to start again, shift habits, and embrace a new beginning.

Maybe this year, try eating less instead of more simply because it’s available.
Your body will thank you.
Or try eating healthier instead of processed foods.
It may cost a little more, but the benefits are worth it.
Or go even further — plant a small garden and eat from it.
Food tastes different when it grows the way God intended, long before pesticides became the “solution.”

And what about the pressure to keep up with the Joneses?
Do we really need the next shiny thing just because someone else has it — even if it costs next year’s paycheck?
Only to find out it’s outdated by the time the bill is paid?

We are so used to leaning on our own understanding.
Then we wonder why things don’t work out.

So this year, try something knew —
Try reading the Word… and then actually doing what it says.

We are not smarter than God.
If we followed His way, we would save ourselves time, frustration, and unnecessary detours.
And we would come out better than we imagined.

He will order your steps — if you stop thinking you know it all.
He will provide for you — just as He provides for the birds and the lilies — if you stop worrying.
He will give you wisdom — if you ask.

If you knew what He already knows, you’d be ahead of the class.
What class?
The same class of people standing behind you, going through the same things, waiting for someone to lead the way.

• Have you been trying your way and getting the same results?

• Are you leaning on your own understanding instead of His?
